London has a variety of hotels to offer. Before you book a hotel you should be aware of some points:
• The wedding ceremony takes place in Central West London (St Marys Church in Marylebone) so you could book a hotel nearby to be centrally located. This would be advantageous if you want to do some sightseeing over the weekend and prefer not to travel long distances
• The wedding reception takes place in Northwood, Middlesex (west of London) and approximately 20km from the City Centre. You could book a hotel near Northwood but be aware that it takes approximately 30-40 min by train to get into Central London – a bit of a journey if you fancy sightseeing over the weekend.
Depending on your budget there are a variety of hotels to choose from, starting with luxurious ones such as the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, the Savoy in Central London or the traditional Ritz Carlton. Medium-range hotels include the Brunel Hotel in Bayswater, the London Elizabeth Hotel near Hyde Park or the Holiday Inn near Victoria. Large-scale tourist hotels are the County Hotel near Euston, the Travelodge next to Kings Cross or in Marylebone.
We would recommend visiting the websites www.smoothhound.co.uk or www.offtolondon.com where you can enter your search criteria and choose from a variety of hotels. Either type in the area where you would like to stay or the "stars" that you require. We are more than happy to provide additional information.
