The Grange Country House
If you do not have your own car, there are various public transportation options for travel to the venue by either tube or by bus (click the links for information). For those who live in and around London, it is the norm to jump on a tube or a bus, and it is often the quickest way to get from point A to point B. For example, there is a direct tube train route on the Metropolitan Line between Baker Street (zone 1) travelling west to Northwood (zone 6). It takes 37 minutes with no changes.
However we are aware that these options will be unsuitable for some of the guests who have been invited for the whole day. We are currently looking at a number of transfer options for these guests, and it is likely that there will be some transportation available for a limited number of people who need it - those who have travelled from overseas or from long distances without a car, and those with mobility problems.
If you believe that you will need transfers between the Church and The Grange after the wedding ceremony, and then between the Grange and Cetnral London at the end of the evening celebration, please do let us know when you reply to your invitation. Thank you.
Taking a taxi is likely to cost you £50 - £60 one way, so don't plan to hop into a black cab!
